For the last three days we have been at Ag Show, in the Showgrounds, at Toowoomba spreading the word on Treehenge. We had a fantastic site in the main pavilion and got to speak to lots of locals who were excited about a project like Treehenge happening in their ‘backyard’. Lots of people were interested in the types of trees we are planning to plants – especially given the frosts that the site will have. We had a special ‘Celebration of Life' tree on the site and asked people to add a leaf telling us who they would dedicate a tree in Treehenge to and why to go in the draw to win a tree in the henge. Congratulations to Rachel who dedicated a tree to her sister who only lived to 28 days - she shared that she felt that the tree would live for her. Thanks to all who entered and came to see us on the stand.

The week we reached a special milestone with the first holes for our trees going in the ground. The first plot to get their holes is right by the entrance to the property as you first come in the gate. This area will be planted with mostly Chinchilla White Gums as it is on the lower part that can frost quite heavily in winter.
