Terms & Conditions

Commemorative Trees

  1. Treehenge will allocate a commemorative tree for your dedication from a recent planting if trees are available. If all the existing planted trees have been allocated, your tree will be planted in the next planting period. Planting season is typically between September and March each year. This is to ensure we provide the best opportunity for your tree to survive and thrive.
  2. Trees will be chosen based on scientific information that informs us of the most suitable species for the land on which they are planted. Trees will be native Australian trees that are suited to the climate, soil types, and ecosystem of the chosen sites.
  3. You will be notified by e-mail of the location of your tree once it is planted.
  4. Should a Treehenge commemorative tree fail to survive within the first 5 years, Treehenge will replant a tree in the same location. If the forest is too advanced in that location a new tree will be planted in the next grove as soon as it is practical to do so. This may be necessary as replanting seedlings amongst well-established trees reduces their chance to thrive. If your tree is relocated you will be contacted by Treehenge to inform you of the new location.
  5. Treehenge commemorative trees will be planted on lands that are securely controlled and managed by Treehenge. Once they are mature, they are passed into the care of Condamine Alliance (the not-for-profit parent company).
  6. All trees planted and associated tree benefits remain the property of the Condamine Alliance.
  7. Treehenge and the Condamine Alliance will take all care to protect trees and nurture them, however the tree replacement guarantee does not include trees that become damaged through extreme acts of nature such as bushfires, floods or droughts.
  8. The planting sites will be security controlled to maximise survival rates.
  9. All maintenance arrangements (planting, weeding, pruning, spraying) will be carried out by Treehenge, until the mature trees are passed back to the Condamine Alliance for long term maintenance programs. It is the commitment of Treehenge to maximise the survival of your planted tree throughout its life cycle.
  10. Treehenge and Condamine Alliance is committed to the long-term restoration of the catchment and has the skills and resources to complete this agreement.

Sustainable Trees

  1. Treehenge will allocate your sustainable trees from a recent planting if trees are available. If all the existing planted trees have been allocated, your trees will be planted in the next planting period.
Trees will be chosen that can then be harvested in the future to provide a sustainable source of building materials and products for our communities into the future.
  3. You will be notified by e-mail or post of the location of your trees once they are planted.
  4. Trees planted in the Sustainable Treehenge Plantation will be managed using scientific knowledge and best forestry management practices. These may include selected clearing, pruning and culling of trees to maximize their growth potential and to create a strong, healthy forest.
  5. Sustainable Treehenge Plantation trees will be planted on lands that are securely controlled and managed by Treehenge. Once they are mature, they are passed into the care of the Condamine Alliance (the not-for-profit parent company).
  6. All trees planted and associated tree benefits remain the property of the Condamine Alliance.
